Membership

Anyone new to the club is entitled to one Free Taster Session. After this, 2 more taster sessions are available at the rate of £3 per session. This is a 'guest player' arrangement and, as such, you will not be covered by the Club's insurance. Therefore, you will be required to sign a liability disclaimer.
The purpose of these taster sessions is for you to decide if you wish to join Tiverton Terriers Netball Club or not!
Please Note: Only 1 free taster session will be granted per person. A further 2 sessions can be attended at the £3 rate. After these taster sessions, membership will need to be confirmed prior to attending any more training sessions.

If you would like to come along for a taster session, then you are welcome to just turn up (but check the Events Diary just to make sure it is a normal training session that week). If you prefer to speak to someone prior to coming, then feel free to contact any of the committee members. Contact details are available on the Committee page!

We offer 2 levels of membership.
This gives members the option to play either recreationally for fitness and the social aspect or, to get more involved with the competitive side of netball and with a view to playing in our league team. Details of what is covered by the different membership costs, are explained below:

 Standard Membership

£25*

This cost includes Sports Cover Insurance.

 Full
Membership

£40*

This also covers the cost of
Affiliation to England Netball
Exeter & District Netball League Fees
(however, please be aware we cannot guarantee that everyone will play regularly in the league).

* In addition to the annual membership costs, each player must pay £20 for each 10 week training session block - this is to cover the cost of court hire.
Anyone who knows they will be away on certain dates (e.g. for a holiday) will be required to give at least one months notice to Jo Roberts (treasurer). That session can then be deducted at the £2 a session rate from the block payment.
If, for some reason, a member is not able to commit to the 'block booking' they will be charged £3 per session. Please discuss this with Jo Roberts in advance.
Please note: Reduced membership rates apply when joining half way through the year - speak to Jackie Harding (membership secretary) for details.
